A few questions.

How do I get started?

Open Library, sign in, make a list and add a few words. You can try the flashcard above before creating an account.

What does Generate do?

On a vocabulary list, one press writes a short passage with your words and illustrates any word that still needs a picture. It never replaces what you already have. Each account has a small daily allowance, shown on the button.

What information does Generate use?

The list name, its words, and each word’s main meaning and example — your own meaning first when you have one. These go to Google’s Gemini AI. See the privacy policy.

Can I add my own meanings?

Yes. Save personal meanings, examples and IPA alongside the dictionary. Notes are for writing only and are not practised.
